SCECLB435 Joanna Thomas
What are your views on the general principles of the Bill and
the need for legislation to deliver the Welsh Government’s
stated policy objective (to make the Senedd a more effective
legislature by ensuring it is broadly representative of the gender
make-up of the population)?
Nomination should be on merit not sex. If
however you insist on going ahead with this idiotic system, you
SHOULD NEVER include trans women as women,it should be female from
birth only. The whole world is watching Welsh Labour, and you've
already failed in so many other areas.
What are your views on the system of enforcement and potential
sanctions for non-compliance proposed in the Bill?
Its an unworkable utterly ridiculous waste of
tax payer money purely to play alongside Stonewall and get the
gender ID bill through but we see what you are doing and will fight
it on every level.
Are there any potential barriers to the implementation of the
Bill’s provisions? If so, what are they, and are they
adequately taken into account in the Bill and the accompanying
Explanatory Memorandum and Regulatory Impact Assessment?
Real women.
Are any unintended consequences likely to arise from the
Bill?
Men in women's spaces and men as female mp's.
Men in women's sport and the Welsh government being an absolute
laughing stock as well as being voted out in 2026. Choose
wisely.
What are your views on the Welsh Government’s assessment
of the financial and other impacts of the Bill?
They are not valid points, it's not workable
and is mysogyny brought in by stealth
What are your views on the balance between the information
contained on the face of the Bill and what is left to subordinate
legislation? Are the powers for Welsh Ministers to make subordinate
legislation appropriate?
Trying to gt the self id bill in by stealth
methods is a new low for Welsh Labour
Do you have any views on matters relating to the legislative
competence of the Senedd including compatibility with the European
Convention on Human Rights?
The Senedd is incompetent
Do you have any views on matters related to the quality of the
legislation, or to the constitutional or other implications of the
Bill?
Steath push through of self id will be the
downfall of Labour
Are there any other issues that you would like to raise about
the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum or any related
matters?
Do not try and push this and the self id bill
through, you will be opening a can of worms that even you can't
brush under the carpet
Anything else?
No
